How to fire Selected index Changed event for ajax auto complete extender?

Hi experts,

Is there any way to do post back on selecting any value in ajax auto complete extender?
Presently am searching records by names.. names are populating in the auto complete extender
on selecting any name i want to display records related to that name in the grid
please help me to solve this issue..
