how do fetch groups associated to the user in E-Directory

I want to retrieve user associated groups from E-Directory. Iam able to fetch the basic information but not Groups..

Ex: I have user "abc" in the E-Directory. User "abc" is a member of "group1" and "Group2".
how can i retrieve the Groups using C#.
