How to Keep Alive the session in ASP.NET?

I have an application, every operation is based on UserID , an user can work 6-8 hours so i have to keep alive until user logs out. How can i do it? Thanks for your answers.....

yeah but its not finished yet.. i cant use that way how they extent. I'M hosting in IIS server its not working there..

yeah , im trying to hit db for 15 min interval with timer and update panel. its working sort of, but i can sure after i host this project for test run.
