while when i submit a form, an alphanumeric id will be displayed on the form.that alphanumeric id have to be saved in that table

Then pass it along with all the other fields while inserting records into database. Whats the issue?

That is you are generating it some way,right? There may be two way to implement this

1) Generate id before submitting data.

2) If first one is not possible, then once data is inserted into table, get its primary key field as output. Then once your id is generated update the table using that primary key field with the value you have generated.
