How to Resolve Linker Errors?

Hi,
Iam Facing the error which is a linker type can some one try to help me out.

"error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "public: static struct CRuntimeClass * __stdcall myview::GetThisClass(void)" (?GetThisClass@myview@@SGPAUCRuntimeClass@@XZ) referenced in function "public: virtual int __thiscall myapp::InitInstance(void)" (?InitInstance@myapp@@UAEHXZ) myapp.obj DocView2"

Is the .cpp file where myview is defined excluded from the build?
