I have selected to develop a web crawler for the psychological profiling as my final year project of BS. i want some guidance
1- can any one tell that is this a good idea to work on?
2- what is the future scope of this work ?
3- And what are the best methodologies to develop web crawler and what data mining techniques will be used for psychological profiling?

"1- can any one tell that is this a good idea to work on?", and how would you expect us to know? We do not know anything about you, your skillset, your school work, your school, your assignment requirements, etc. As you have been told before, you should be asking your teacher, teacher's assistant or your faculty advisor instead of random strangers on the internet that can't answer your questions anyway.

I personally suspect the real scope of this work is pseudo-science, something like shamanism of psychologically challenged individuals trying to psychologically classify other individuals in order to improve their own self-esteem, very likely in vain. :-)
