Hello all,

I've gone downstairs to start commissioning a new machine. Now my laptop which has been connected to a unusual switch with plenty of network devices connected doesn't want to get into private network. it keeps my network unidentified and public...

Which is the right way to ask windows 8.1 to switch from unidentified to private?

I can't work that way... this is frustrating...

I've disabled the adaptor, shut down the computer and waited with all the cables removed...

I'm about to sacrifice a chicken, but I'm not in the mood of doing it so... which would be your advice? all the software I'm using to develop is windows based so no change to any other thing possible...

Oh, apart of that there's another annoying thing:
even it looks exactly the same configuration than in the wireless configuration (except of course for the last ipv4 number) I can't get into Internet from my Ethernet cable and I do need to use wifi to access the Internet.

Thank you all in advance!
