How do I get to search the ListBox for the Database working automatically?

I need help with something.. (C#, Windows Form, Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate)

I want that the ListBox (right) automatically is detecting the DatatgridviewX (bottom) and the Details (left).

If my Details btw. the Date is listed in the ListBox (right) then I click on it, but I don't get the search result in the Details (left), nothing happens if I click on it.

Now I don't really know what I have to type in so that it works, maybe someone could help me out and know how it works, would be great. :)

If the DatagridviewX is full with details, and then is also showing in the ListBox at the right, then I click on it example on 09/30/2014 then it needs to get loaded in the left Details area, but it doesn't, it just happen nothing.

There is no Code if I click on ListBox at the right, so I can't show you any codes.. there must be a little code what can load the ListBox to the left Details box. Because if I click on the Datagridview then it also get in the Details box at the left so that I can edit it.

I don't understand. You don't have any code?

You'll have to write code such that when something is selected it fills it in.

I'm still confused as to where you are stuck.

I do have code, but not for this, because if you create a Database there then you don't get any Code for it, you only can get the ListBox, Datagridview, Details, and a bit more, but you can't see the Codes. Yes that is exactly what I mean, if something is selected in the ListBox then it needs to fill it in, in the Details at the left, but it doesn't. That's why I asked here if someone knows a code for it? :p

See the SelectedIndexChanged event. That happens when the listbox item is clicked.

Looks good, but I don't have a textbox2 and the ListBox has already the search results from the Datagridview, I only need that if I select a item in the ListBox then it needs to get filled in the Details list at the left on my image, and this won't happen..

How to get the ListBox selected items in the left details? I mean, if I select a detail from the datagridview then it also shows up btw. fill it in, in the Details, but if I am selecting something in the ListBox, then not, this is the problem.

First off, you aren't writing in complete sentences so it is very hard to understand what you are doing.

So, simplify this, what is step 1 that you are stuck on?

I know, but I only can write this what I am trying to do the whole time. The thing is, there is only one step to do, ListBox selected items to get to the left Details list.

OK. So, read the documentation or just use intellisense. The listbox has a SelectedItem property and a SelectedValue property.

I sounds like your problem is that you expect some magical process to read your mind to know what it is that you want to do and Visual Studio will create things for you. You are going to have to get your hands dirty and write some code to do what you want to do. Learn C#, learn ADO.NET, learn SQL, learn to read the documentation for the classes that you find that you need to use.

No, like I said, I know a lot about C# etc., but not this one, that's why this here is for things like that to get help. If everyone get the same answer like you did right now, then this could get disabled, because then codeproject doesn't need this here.

If you "know a lot about C#" then why are you unable to write some code to query a database? What is it that you would expect from us based on the zero amount of relevant data that you have given us to work with? You have said nothing at all about being a C# expert, what code you have tried to write for this, what database you are using or even a coherent problem.
