How to get highest id in same date with different id ?

This query wise my result Get Data is Below

BatchiD      Date
PSSR/B1269   20/08/2014
STSDSD/B95   20/08/2014
SSO/B255     20/08/2014
STSDSDC/B58  20/08/2014 
DECGS/B17    20/08/2014
STSDSD/B96   20/08/2014
SSO/B256     20/08/2014

After This data i want SSO/B255,SSO/B256 this two data greater than
I want SSO/B256 this Result greater than value.

Please define "greater" especally for x in "x/y"

Normalization is a good thing. You should read up on it.

Solution 1

You can use MAX(BatchiD) with your condition for last inserted row.

That would give him the row with BatchID = 'STSDSDC/B58'
