I tried to check this on internet .. but many i got this is for 4.5 or mvc related ..

Please help me on this ..'

I am building a web application , so i want to give access for user that theu can do access using there existing accounts google , facebook , twitter or linkdn ..

My project is not MVC and i am using framework 4.0 and not 4.5.

Why don't you try seeing the examples of 4.5?

dude ..i heared there is inbuilt functionality for 4.5 which is not for 4.0 .. and unfortunately i wanted to run my app on and not ... so so much confusion ... please suggest

You are correct. They are out of the box in 4.5. More at - OAuth in the Default ASP.NET 4.5 Templates[^].

But under the hood, it implements http://dotnetopenauth.net/[^]. So, download the samples (links given on the mentioned website) and try in Visual Studio with 4.0 Web Forms.

I guess, if you try your hands for sometime, you will succeed.

yes thanks i will check out this .. but also anything else specifically for only non mvc related and targeting only to 4.0 ... it would be helpfull for me too ..
