Dear guys, I have been researching a lot in the area of mouse functions. Unfortunately, I haven't succeeded in Borland C++ (BC) but I was able to do that in TurboC++. I have tried coding in BC Version 5.5, but as soon as I compile, I get an error (I mean Windows error), stating that "application has terminated, not responding".

Kindly give the required guidance. Advance thanks.

Is there some reason that you are using a compiler that is 20+ years old and probably not support by Borland anymore?

Sir, there's no definite reason which I can explain, but I wanted to go from the start of the programming. We believe that programming started and Windows OSes started all because of "Ancient C++". That's why I had asked. Can you suggest some methods?

Well it's problem with the compiler so what is it that you would expect us to do about it? Get yourself a compiler that was at least updated this decade.

Just because C++ is 'ancient' it doesn't mean you need an ancient development environment.
I suggest you follow the link in Solution 1 if Windows i your platform.

And what do you mean with "mouse function"?

1 solution

Go to http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/en-us/products/2010-editions/express[^] and get yourself a decent development system that will work with Windows.
