Asp.net GridView not working properly in Content Page

I have a GridView in Content Page. Grid view is not displayed properly. Grid view column are displayed vertically. what is the way for displaying grid view in proper format? i'm using IE11 browser. when i changed the Document mode to lower version then GridView display in proper format. but in normal IE11 it is displayed properly.

verticaly means columns as rows and rows as columns.

try including the js files specially made for viewing in IE. Like html5shiv.js
