I have a column "password" in a excel sheet with characters and I need to replace these characters by '*' when I load the data to destination

Ex:password is : 123456 then the o/p should be:****** by using SSIS package

Kindly help me please.

I apologise... They need that column to be loaded in the destination.

Use the cell format option. However, storing passwords in an Excel sheet is not very secure.

In the Excel Source of the DataFlow, use the "SQL command" option to specify a query, such as:

SELECT ... , '******' AS [Password] , ... FROM ...
