i want to save some mathematical fields in database like underroot(√3),ohm(Ω),pi.i have declared data table column as varchar(MAX).its getting saved in following form
ohm ex(Ω) as-O
underroot ex.(√3) as-v

what can be done in order to save the data in proper format.

There is no native type in SQL Server (if that's you database) to store mathematical expressions. So varchar is just fine. Do you have any particular problem with your current approach?
