How to get the source code of a project from launchpad

I'm using windows 8, I tried to download a project from launchpad so I searched and got this link[^] and be able to download a file with deb extension, I don't know how to use it. Pls help so I can download files from there into my windows system

Solution 1

The file is a package for Ubuntu Linux not Windows 8.

I first went to this page http://askubuntu.com/questions/13357/how-to-get-the-source-code-of-a-project-from-launchpad which led me to the above one. I need a way to download launchpad projects into my windows system

You are aware that launchpad is a linux application not a windows one?

I know, the case it that I'm trying the openERP, I installed a customization that required the jasper-reports module. I was able to get this link https://code.launchpad.net/openobject-jasper-reports and stopped. Will Bazaar help in downloading this jasper report module

The launchpad source seems to be hosted by bazzar.
