how to add context menu that will open in popup control

I have project in MVC use Dev Express
I tried to add a context menu to a gridview for example to edit a row
that will open in popup control but dont success
dev express suggest
settings.SettingsContextMenu.EnableRowMenu = DefaultBoolean.True;
but it the edit mode doesnt open in popup control

do you any idea how can I do it?
