Why CSS is not functioning properly on alias or rewritten url

I have 2 urls for the same page:

1)original url= Doctors.aspx?Address=Delhi&Category=Cardiologist
2)rewritten/alias url= doctors/delhi/cardiologist

The CSS of the page is working fine with the original url, but the CSS is not functioning on the rewritten url.

Why CSS is not functioning for the second (alias/rewritten) url???Please help!!!

Solution 1

It sounds like your <link> tag has the wrong path in its href attribute.

Make sure you have runat="server" on the tag, and use an app-relative path for your stylesheet:
