In my page created, there is a HTML button control, which is initially set as
JavaScript
<div style="height:30px">
    <button id="qButton" dojotype="dijit.form.Button" disabled="disabled" onclick="queryButton_onclick();">Query</button>
</div>

In the JS code, I turned it enabled
JavaScript
document.getElementById("qButton").removeAttribute("disabled");

In debugging, I can see that qButton.disabled = false. However, the button is still greyed. Thanks in advance for your response.

The bug got solved by using
document.getElementById("Button").disabled = false;
