how to set details value in group or details section suppress when group has no details value

i faced a problem in crystal reports. Name of the commodity is my group and (a) Soyabean (b) Others group details.but problem is sometimes group has data and details has data . how to set group data in group section and details section same time. pls help me.

You could create formula that evaluates your details section. IT would go something like this (sorry, I don't have CR installed and cannot really write the formula for you)

Create Shared NumberVar count.
Set count to details row count

Create formula that returns true or false depending on your details count. Go to Section Expert, find supreesion and click on that little button on the right, set this formula as supress condition. Done!
