slide when minimize and maximize browser

i have a div and this div have two more div one is for left menu and other is more display content.
when i click on button left mebu div should be slide left and when again click on button the div should be slide right as overlay on second
div.
but when i restore the browser then left div should be slide left and when maximize the browser the both div should be display on there absolute
position. how can i do this please any one help
i am using bootstrap and jquery to solve this problem
