How to make browser compatibility.

I have a webpage which is developed under XHTML 1.0, but when i view this page in IE 8 the tables which are created under XHTML where in-proper to IE 8.
Let me know how to make compatibility for old and latest browsers.

Solution 1

Use Bootstrap[^] for design, which will eliminate most of the compatibility issues. If the designs still break in older browsers, then I am afraid, you have to write specific CSS files for specific browser version.
