Get the Credit card details on swiping

Im working on POS system in WPF. I need to get the credit card details into POS system after swiping a card.

Are there any tools or components or dll's that will allow me to recognize credit card details

Any advice is appreciated.

This question sounds dodgy. Doesn't your card reader provide you with an API?
