Why do you want to do that? Existing systems don't fit your needs?

Why you want to do so, what are the specification you want to have in new DB. These details required before going and suggesting anything.

This is too broad a question for us to answer in a small text box: so start with Google.

Half a million results, most of them with some information.

Work out what you need, then try to ask a more specific question. At the very least, decide on a language...
