how to show progressbar while clicking on LINK button using javascript?

Hi friends

i m working on website in which i have implemented code for progress bar using jquery for button it is working but i want same for LinkButton....

$('form').live("submit", function () {
$.showprogress();
});

for 'button' its input type is "submit"......
but for LinkButton what i have to put ????
please help me
