xml API+python desktop application.Is it possible? or any other suggestions?

Iam working on a project in python has a GUI which takes input of some random student with a unique number and his marks like 10M for Q1 3M for Q2 and so on for every student like that.This is a desktop application.Now i don't want this application to access the internet and does processing in such a way that even if i copy the exe file of my application and run it on some other desktop the data should reside.Is it feasible? Help me!!
