Webmatrix sql Membership inbox

Hello, i'm building a application with webmatrix and i have built the membership page with its menu and some of its menu are "inbox", "new message" comment". Pls, how do i code this in webmatrix using its sql database most especially how do members view their inbox? Is it that the messages are stored in a database?
