Am connecting to gmail account using IMAP. Let me know Is there a unique identifier for each email thread in gmail? is so the synchronization becomes quiet simple for me. Is their any possibility to set such unique id by us while sending the mail?

Any ideas? positive response will be appreciated

You should check the email message details which you get in the code while retrieving. I think, there should be one ID.

Each email has a unique message ID, showing them as conversations or threads is a way of viewing the emails.
