Iam not using sql dependency. Is there any way from the asp.net web application itself we can show notifications in taskbar and make the application running continuously.

I'm afraid it's impossible to display notification in taskbar using ASP.NET, but... You can always display notification on client computer via your site.

There is no other way than sqlcachedependency class, actually have to make one web application in which entries will be done, the admin needs a taskbar notification for every entry
