sql server reinstall

sql server reinstallation process this is the error shown...

None of the selected features can be installed or upgraded. Setup cannot proceed since no effective change is being made to the machine. To continue, click Back and then select features to install. To exit SQL Server Setup,

please give me the suggestion to how to resolve it.

once i install the sql server... installation was succesfull. but some problem arise in the connection to front and back end so uninstall the sql server.
again restallation process this is the problem arise.(in add/remoce program uninstall the all the releted file for sql server...) no use same erros occures again.

plz provide the stepwise solution

Solution 1

The error should be pretty clear. It's telling you that you haven't made any change. You need to uninstall first, and then try to reinstall.
