How to bind data into Chosen Dropdown list and select it dynamically

Hi,

I am new to Chosen controls. I am bind selected values into chosen dropdown list.

First, I am trying to load data through ajax call and append to chosen dropdown. Later i am trying to select it.

I am trying to select item with below code
