How Do I Edit My Profile Details I Include In Registration

Hello Programmers,
i am having trouble in editing my profile i included as additional properties while registering in ASP.net mcv application. i want to know how to not only display those details but also update it.

The idea behind it is if a user enter his details while registering, he or she can later go to his profile page and edit his details but i have searched the internet and nothing like this... they keep giving example of how to add a porperty and not how to edit it.


second question, if a user enter the date of his birth(BirthDate) and i want to display this details to him when he has logged in; is it going to display as a date or is it going to display in the format: "25 Years" because that is also want i want.
