Send mouse click to another app from vb

Hi,

In a VB coded programm, I want to send a mouse click to the window of another application (in case BTsync - https://www.getsync.com): I want to pause /resume the syncing in BTsync from within my VB programm.
Sendkeys won't work... Is there another way to do something like that?
