How do I consume a password protected REST Web Service

Hi all,

I am trying to consume a REST web service into a C# web solution on VS 2012.

If anyone has an example of how I can consume a password protected REST Web Service - Please could you point me in the right direction of the steps that I need to follow.

there is no official standard for this. Your best bet is to contact the people that wrote the web service and ask them for the documentation on it and what it expects to connect to it.
