how to add multiple sounds to a game written in vb.net and they could play simultaneously?

am coding a game for mobile its a car racing and smashing game so i need a background sound and when i shoot the sound of the shoot gun plays without cutting the background audio, am using a wav format to embed .... need answers asap plz :)
