hello Team,
good after noon. i have a web application developed in classic ASP and i got the precompiled Web site folder which is generally you find in server after you host the web site using IIS.
. can any body help me answer the below questions
1. can i directly go and publish this website using the folder.
2. if yes please then i know what is the steps to publish a web site.
3. if know please help me to publish the website.

Doubt:

one more question related to the same pre compiled Web application.

1. before try to deploy the web App using INETMGR(IIS-Web pool) i have to stop the web application in my current running server.
can some one please help me how can i stop the particular web app.

The answer is yes. As long as your IIS setting are correct for the new site then copy / paste does work

Thanks andy :) for your time and response but i have only that publish folder. i copied from C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Project_WebAPP##.
so will it work.
