I'm trying to conceptualise how to handle the volatility on either end of this. I suppose the simple answer is that these chips would just be dedicated hardware that can be treated as an IO device by the rest of the system.

My "certainty", as you put it (only trolls are so quick to be so personally insulting), has nothing to do with wishing to be trolled, or with wishing to be an unpaid teacher of information that can be googled in two seconds.
If you want to know more, it's not my job to google it and provide links for you.
And read the troll's handbook (google that, too). A lot of your messages in CP appear to come straight from it.

All I wanted was a friendly conversation and some information. I genuinely wanted to understand why you made the claim you did, from your perspective. So not something I can google why you believe what you do. But you immediately said "don't troll". Well thank you, but I wasn't. Maybe I was a bit too direct, but I'm not apt to believe or give much credence to statements like you were making without a little bit of reason behind it. Not asking for a treatise or essay. Maybe you could also tone it down a bit. You seem to bit negative about almost everything.
BTW, I did google China and quantum teleportation, and while I did find some interesting bits, there was nothing I could find that talked about quantum communication between two computer chips.
Anyway, you're of course, welcome to respond, but I feel like this horse has been beaten into the next century.
