Orwell Dev-CPP would be one possibility[^]- a rather venerable IDE for GCC-based development on windows, comes with a compiler packaged into the install. Also has standalone compiler packages available for download.

Finally got round to watching the last episode of the Walking Dead last night and I though it was excellent. At least no whiny Rick (you just want to slap him to get him to actually do something).
Anyhoo, I was struck by how much the governor looked like Snake Pliskin while he still had the longer hair.
I'd like them to drop Rick and his crew (they are soooooooo boring) and have more episodes/story arcs like this one.

Personally I found the episode with Philip, aka Brian, to be incredibly boring - more like a soap opera than a zombie apocalypse. He is overrated and I am only disappointed someone hasn't shot him in his good eye by now.
Having said that, Rick's bunch are a bunch of useless whiners. If I started in on the waste of perfectly good resources over the past few episodes/seasons we would be here all day.
Examples:
- Can't anybody drive a mechanical digger?
- After many months at the prison how come all they built was an outdoor barbeque pit, a big solid gate on a flimsy fence and a vegetable garden only big enough to feed three people for a fortnight?
- Why didn't they collect some of the many abandoned vehicles around the area and use them to reinforce the fence against pushing zombie hordes - instead of a few sticks?
- If people randomly die in their sleep and wander around biting other sleeping people, why don't people lock themselves in the conveniently provided cells each night - if you die you can't get out, if you don't die the dead ones can't get in.
- Use a big truck (lorry, not pick-up) instead of a puny car to go raiding local stores. They are more zombie proof and you can just shove everything you can find into them rather than just filling a shopping car with single items - requiring a return visit later at further risk.
- When they were on the farm they could have at least built a wall using some of those concrete highway dividers - assuming someone could drive a flatbed lorry and a crane! Flimsy fences is as far as defences seem to go!
- I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.

Fair point: I enjoyed it just because it was so different to the usual fair. This season's show runner should get fired - he is killing the show.

That would make too much sense. If the characters had to be sensible like that, they'd run out of plot in half a season.

You're missing the point. The show exists to make ridiculous amounts of money for those involved in it, not for watcher's enjoyment, so if anything happens too quickly, they've got to come up with another idea.
And when they do come up with ideas, you don't honestly expect them to take any time thinking them through, do you? That would involve doing more work and spending less time preening themselves and prancing about in front of fans.

The person that is most likely to survive is not the hard-working but the social king. If Rick made everyone work they would riot and replace him. Also, considering they are in Georgia let's contemplate why they don't steal a boat and sail to a small island in the Caribbean. At least there killing zombies would be a war of attrition they could win.
