I foresee a complete farce evolving over the next 90 days.
UK Government is completely useless when it comes to IT, so it should be fun to watch.
Fortunately I will have my Companies House and Corporation Tax returns done before the switch off of support.

Is that support as in support? In which case it matters not I'd have thought. Who needs support?
If they mean they're going to stop fixing security holes after that point, well that's bad. XP may not be as nice as Windows 7 but it does the job so you can understand anyone without a limitless IT budget having reluctance to upgrade.

Who will notice? Microsoft hasn't provided support for a product since Windows 95. I remember that clearly, since my disk 13 was defective and wouldn't finish the installation. I called Microsoft, a person answered, and my problem was fixed. That's the last time that's happened.
Will Rogers never met me.
