1. No idea, I buy the second smallest sized bottle from the supermarket once every week or two.
2. £1 for Hovis Best of Both, £2.99 for wheat free, somewhere in-between for something edible.
3. No idea at all, I rarely use potatoes unless I've grown them myself.
4. Clove is £3.00 for a 1kg tub, £2 for 500g. I only buy it when on offer so don't pay that. Not that Clover is butter.

Just the one, but she doesn't like milk.
The wife and I both drink black coffee, tea with just a drop of milk in it, neither of us eat cereal although my daughter does now and again but only with enough milk to make it go a bit soggy.
When I was growing up it was the same, none of us drank milk, my dad only black coffee, my mum neither tea nor coffee and people rarely ate cereal (my mum eats cereal with orange juice on it instead of milk). The didn't buy milk at all, have that powdered crap in case anyone turns up and wants some in tea - they usually only do this the once.

Although having read the story, as she is minister responsible for Milk and the low price of milk in the supermarkets leading to very small prices paid to dairy farmers is one of the key things she will be looking at, she probably should have known.
Or at least someone should have told her the question was coming and what the answer was.

Funnily enough, or not, I need to pay the milk man and tell him to fuc not deliver as we're going on holiday.

I buy all these things relatively often, although it depends where you buy them.
1. 4 pints or 2 litres for a quid is a common offer, which makes it 25p or thereabouts. If you buy in smaller amounts it's usually more like 50p though.
2. Nice bread is about £1.30 (that's a large brown from Waitrose). I don't buy sliced white processed stuff so I'm an out of touch elite on this one
3. Depends on the time of year, 3lb for £1 or 5lb for £1 are common market deals which makes it 45-65p a kilo.
