The biggest problem (biologically speaking) is that the human race no longer has natural selection (if we exclude Darwin Award recipients who are making a valiant but futile effort at improving the gene pool). I sometimes fear that we are actually devolving.

Bieber and Beliebers serve to reinforce that fear!

I just managed to get all my data from the damaged HDD[^]. The second VM was not really of help, so I downloaded the current Ubuntu LTS release, started it on the damaged VM (tryout mode, of course) and was able to mount the damaged HDD and soak my data out of it Big Grin | :-D
