Well - after Europe cowed with the publication of Muhammad cartoon (amongst other things) and rewarded Hamas by 'recognizing statehood' as a reward for getting thousands killed for political gains, and, in general showing a lack of character, what do you expect? Don't you get it? These attacks are the equivalent of rockets from Gaza.
All that's missing, since it's Europe, is someone being apologetic with the standard "this is not representative of Islam" line.
Two routes appear before you now, admittedly not civilized options, but you're on the brink of basically an Anschluss by occupying forces. And "civilized" is a cultural thing and there are two cultures at war.
Either stand up and clean out the vermin and their overseas supporters,
Or save some time and institute sharia law now.
Sometimes, unphilosophical as it may be, you must chose to Either Live in Fear or Be Feared.

No - never even heard of it.
I simply pay attention to the actions. To the words.
And also, to the silences.
International news media seems to bend over backwards with appeasement. I observe this over and over. The governments, particularly in Europe, are appraising their situation and, for all intents and purposes, cowering at that situation.
As presented on a number of news discussions, in France, they don't even call terrorists "terrorists" when they arrest them: lest the citizens be panicked?
Years ago, I made a prediction about using motor vehicles in a coordinated attack by driving into crowds. That, it seems, has come to be. I had another prediction: adding poisons to packaged food at the factory. I'd love to be wrong about that. You have no idea how much I'd love to be wrong.
At the risk of yet another 'Abuse' vote, I will note that an Islamic Revolution has been in effect for many years now. Previously it manifested in more third-world-ish countries in the form of separatist movements. Now, it appears, we're on the verge of it moving on to bigger things.

There was an excellent interview with the political cartoonist Martin Rowson on the BBC's rolling coverage. He said that the notion that Charlie Hebdo brought this on themselves by their provocative reporting was extremely offensive. It is the duty of everyone to laugh at those whose response to criticism or satire is to resort to terrorism and violence.
The suggestion that those cartoons should be published on the front page of every newspaper and website is an excellent one.

About two years back I had developed a very rough App called "Gestop". The ideas was to have a 3D gesture controlled desktop and controlling every app through gesture.

After posting this video, I really got some brutal thrashing in the forum, being ridiculed for fantasizing something that would never be a reality.
And this January laptops are launched with the same concept. Of course the technology is much improved, the control is way too smooth but the seed of the idea is now a plant. And it's only going to grow by every day!

It seems to me cumbersome to an extent that make it useless for normally able people, however this kind of development can be very important to people with accessibility problems (I know someone who uses his computer by moving his eyeball - the only thing he can move!)...

Reading the original thread you linked to I see most replies being either encouraging or giving constructive feedback, and one offhand dismissal from a poster who mistrusts every technological advance of the last 30 years.
I don't think that counts as a brutal thrashing.

Gesture clearly will have a place in the future, no doubt, but will it ever replace mouse and keyboard? Not likely.

This is great on a tablet when using it while cooking : just wave to get on page 2 of the recipe instead of putting your dirty hands on the tablet (or having to wash them before).
