I have had a Saturday job for over 6 years now at a storage outfit. 90% of the time I'm there I am writing code or lurking here. Laugh | Anyhow, I just found a workgroup printer (Xerox Phaser 7300DT) in a vacated unit. I plugged it in and it still works, printing out a startup page. I checked on ebay and used ones are going from USD $700 up to $1300. My back doesn't want anything to do with it, but it would be cool to have it in the home/office for awhile, then sell it. What would you do?

Edited 2015-02-02: Thanks for the replies! Although I was certain the printer had been abandoned (along with a crappy set of knockoff irons/fairway metals) I left it overnight just to make sure. I went back yesterday with the appropriate equipment and retrieved it.

Now, for anyone questioning the legality, I should probably give a few more facts:
0) the unit was on the watchlist for move-outs that day, meaning the tenant had already advised us that they would be out by that date.
1) the unit was already reserved for another tenant who thankfully did not show up until today
2) part of the job is disposing of any items left behind
3) I left notes regarding the printer in that tenant's notes and also verbally informed the facility manager this morning about the situation

Currently the 150 pound behemoth is sitting in my garage while I build a stand for it.
