Sorry to see that you have to explain yourself so detailed on such an easy game. But my 5 for that explanation and you did a good job on that one, i liked it!
BTW, you could just have send him to read to rules to get a "better" idea of it, therefore take another virtual +5 and a Medal of Honor for this explanation

I like explaining things on which I reasoned about. BTW I find it funnier setting FSOW than actually solving them, and if someone gives me feedback I'm happy, at least I did not waste such good thoughts

In Forum(Question-Answer) section, authors use "code" to format/display code properly when answering/questioning. Like "Javascript" tag use to define javascript code. I think there is requirement to add one more tag as "Razor". Razor generally use in ASP.NET MVC veiw page. When we are adding razor code it is not properly displaying like others.

Are you sure it doesn't exist already? I've used it a few times, doesn't seem perfect but appears to at least be recognised.

That means we need to use "HTML" tag for that? If it is other than that please specify.

Hello all,
Essentially in our company we switched from Vodafone to Orange and it doesn't have data signal in the street where our company is (we can use the phones in our company though).
This is only affecting me as I'm used to call my wife when I'm leaving the company.
Before I had a blackberry and all the voice recognition was performed in the device itself so I could press a hardware button and start speaking to get the call done, therefore I was able to call anyone while driving.
Now the voice recognition (we have Samsung galaxy s4 phones) runs on external online servers and this means that I can't make a voice call when there is no data service.
Is it possible to get a program to do this?
To attach it to a double press of the home button...
Anyone has found a good option to do that?
PS: I tried UTTER time ago, but it can only listen to English, therefore it is a bit strange calling my wife in a weird accent...
I've read in the Internet that "Google Now" can do it but I've not found the way to make it.
Thank you in advance!

The 5.3 update of Google App contains offline mode for a selected group of voice commands - calling not included...
The only option you have now is using some 3rd party from here: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=voice%20command&hl=en[^]

Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?

Thank you Peter!
I've been searching there for a long time and it looks like it's simply not there...
Curiously the Blackberry approach was powered by Nuance and even that option for Android requires a data connection...
Even Utter which seems to be the option when speaking about offline voice commands is returning an error when no data connection is present...

mmmm... in the video I can see the data connection is active.
They are not telling that it works offline...
I'm afraid it will not work...
I do have the SVoice from Samsung installed (it comes by default) which is capable to listen and react while there is a data connection which is not my case...

Not exactly the same, but there's a Settings widget where you can choose Direct Dial and then your wife's number.
Two touches as you mentioned - one for the homescreen, one for the Direct Dial icon.

That is another option, a pity something that worked on a truly old blackberry is not working here, but... I'll check it.
Thank you Vikram!

Windows10 updated yesterday - and was a PITA about it. Finally completed, I turned off for the night and relaxed.
This morning though...
No network. None whatsoever. My adapter doesn't even switch into gigabit mode... And win 10 is refusing to admit any connection exists, or to add a new one.
Why do you do this Microsoft? Why do you make me hate windows10? And why is the new settings app so completely useless?
Two hours, the reboots, and it *might* be ready to admit that my Ethernet network actually exists - not actually connect to it, no. But existence is a start...

And last week I was thinking about to check this SP1 - now I think that even a VM is waste of time ans space...

I'm trying to rollback the update via a restore point - but that needs my windows password, so if got to reboot back into windows to find that, so I can unboit back ty recovery mode to see if windows created a restore point before it cr@pped allover my computer...
It looks like it's a windows sockets problem - like there aren't any or something.

Put all your password into passwordsafe (or a similar product) let it live in dropbox (or a similar service) synch it to your portable bits.
Why do people who a religious about backups not do this to passowrds!

I have my own password manager, which is backed up every which way I can think of - but it only runs on Windows because I haven't got round to learning Android yet...

Now you know how MS improved Security Essentials - if there's no internet connection, there are (almost) no viruses.

Yes. You can still get them via an infected USB drive or some such.
