Personally I pay zero. But I have a coworker who paid for a secure memory stick to hold all his passwords. And of course, he lost the password for the secure stick! lol. The sad part is, after 5 unsuccessful attempts at the password, it DELETES the flash memory. He has used 4/5 attempts and it now sits on his desk to haunt him for the rest of his life... lol

I paid Zero, too.
There's no need for a password manager, really.
As long as we are creative at rearranging the letters of the web address + app name + our unique numbers which is used across site. Using this method, it's almost impossible for somebody to guess it. If somebody do obtain the password, it must be because of hack / security leak / bug, which password manager can do nothing about as well.

I ordered two Amazon Kindles (8" HD 16GB are going for only $49.99[^]) for presents on the same day.
I got one early this morning.
The other one arrived by USPS (United States Postal Service).
The Mail Delivery Person Arrived Twice -- sounds like the name of a good B-rated movie
Anyways, first time I received zero packages. Just regular mail, envelopes etc.
Second time delivery person arrived I had two packages sitting on the front step.

The Kindle box had been opened!!! What?!!!
That box is clearly sliced open on purpose to discover the contents, but why?
Here are my two answers to the mystery.
Either
1) Delivery person delivered to wrong person. Wrong person opened it up quickly then noticed it was not their stuff, tracked down delivery person and s/he brought it to my house.
2) Wrong person received pkg, opened it up in a flurry. Then noticed, I didn't order this. Looked at address and returned it to my porch with another pkg.
Please provide your answer to the mystery below.

If it came from overseas custom may have opened it to check what is in it. It happens to me a lot. Then again I live in land of Kangaroos and Koalas !

If that is the case, the customs people typically reseal it, and put a sticker on reading "opened by customs".
(At least, that's what they do in Israel  )

The mailman wanted to see if it was something of his interest he could "make disappear" for himeslf.

I'd guess it just got snagged in handling and the tape was torn then. Probably when it was loaded in the mailman's truck or they'd've retaped it with a note.

So I'm burning through some vacation time right now. I decided to revive my "old" gaming machine, which I had repurposed for hosting VMs about 2 years ago. Then within the last year, I got myself an Intel NUC that can handle 32GB of RAM, and I've since moved all my VMs to it. So this still relatively beefy machine had gone unused for the better part of the last year.
So I decided to reinstall GTA5 on it. 7 DVDs worth of content to copy. Then an 18GB update. Over my 5mbps connection. This'll take 8 hours, according to the installer. For the update, that is; the game's installed, but I can't launch it until it has updated itself.
According to an article that came out nearly 3 years ago, 25mbps is now considered "broadband", whereas according to the previous definition, 4mbps used to be enough to qualify. My provider really has some catching up to do...
Clearly I'm not going to be playing GTA5 today, so I decided to catch up with some Channel 9 videos I had been meaning to watch for a while. So I fired up a browser...and the video stutters all over the place. I paused the GTA5 update download, downloaded the Channel 9 video instead of streaming it, and then resumed the game update. Start watching the video...and I promptly fell asleep on it.
I can't help but feel like I'm not exactly making the most of my first day of vacation.
