And... as much as people enjoy the CCC, this is a good reason why I hardly ever try.
Most of them are specific to a locale, and, if you don't live there, you are left utterly clueless.
Also, the 'rules' state the next one must be posted by a certain time; at that 'time', I am still sleeping.
But, for those that enjoy the CCC, please continue.

I don't think "most" of them are, by any stretch of the imagination. though this one was perhaps more so, though British PM's are quite Google-able, and Father Ted was, I think, syndicated to many countries, including the US and Australia. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I thought the show was quite well known outside of the UK - mind you, I am also aware that the timing of the CCC means it's mostly for UK users, so.... there's nothing to stop you starting another one aimed at a different time-zone!

A UK based show in syndication probably means it is on cable or satellite; we choose to use a digital antenna and do not get such shows.
I've asked in the past about the timing of the post and been told 'see the rules... the rules are the rules...', so I choose to largely ignore it.

I left my previous position 3 weeks ago - Senior Application Technology Developer; this week I happened to look at the name tag that had been on my cubicle. On the reverse side, it says, "Senior Vice President".
If I had known that, I may have asked for compensation to match...

Yeah, the company re-uses the name tags, and, when I finally looked at the flip-side of mine it says: Senior Vice President.
I told my old manager that and he laughed, he wasn't may manager when I started, so he had no reason to look at it before I got there.

Went to the Dutch Chamber of Commerce yesterday to finish my CoC registration and so Juun Software was born! 
I'll be switching to a 32 hour work week for my current employer and spend at least 8 hours a week for my own business.
I'm already working on a project (some custom software for a startup), but it's hard next to a 40 hour work week.
I've got everything covered financially, so I can just sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride

Good luck - pro tip: make customer relations your #1 priority. Then make it your #2 one as well. Customers will be more forgiving of late delivery, bugs, whatever than they will be of being left in the dark and not communicated honestly with.
