Create a page, click and hold the login control from the toolbox, drag on page, let go.....

hi
when ever i am using forms authentication to secure some particular pages of my site using forms authentication..i only mentioned the urls of those page which i want to be secured by structuring the web.config file as :
location path="account.aspx"
system.web :/authorization/ /deny users="?" /
/authorization/ /system.web/ /localpath/
similarly i did for few pages of my site which i want to secure..but when i open other remaining pages..they are also being secured automatically(which i dont want..).....please help me to fix this problem..
its urgent..

A quick one. How can I get the time of day (PM or AM) from current date.

A datetime includes the time. There is no .NET object tha contains only the date
and if you had only the date, you couldn't work out the time, unless you had the timezone.

To put it simply, I need to be able to do something like
mystrtime = Now.Day.ToString & Now.Month.ToString & Now.Year.ToString & Now.Hour.ToString & Now.Minute.ToString & ????PM Or AM????

By default, the hour > 12 for PM

You would be much better off using DateTime.ToString(format), check out the API docs for DateTime and System.Globalization.DateTimeFormatInfo
For your solution:
Now.ToString("dd/MM/yy hh:mm tt");

ASpnet_wp.exe will be close for few minutes while implementing code or restarting server.
In web.config we did necessary changes.

if user enters wrong spelling like instead of "books" if he enters "boks" then he should be asked that do u mean "books"
how to do this?

There is no way to do this, you'd have to build a table of commonly mis spelled words and alternatives.

You may need to use a Spellchecker component and list the Top suggestions.

exe size of aspnet_wp.exe is increasing every time i run the component thru asp.net client.
is it will be problem??????
