Make sure you have the .pdb files available for the assembly you're trying to debug. If for some reason it doesn't automatically load the symbols, open the Modules window, right-click your assembly name and select "Load Symbols" and select the pdb file. Make sure the source code you have open, the pdb file, and the assembly versions all match up, otherwise you won't be able to load the symbols or hit any breakpoints.

Iam using the following code in a dll -- encrypting a file using gpg exe.

i created a setup project and everything fine.
when am going to install that setup engine in a machine where there is no .net framework 3.5 it is asking to install .net framework 3.5.
without .net framework 3.5 how can i install my setup project?

Without .NET Framework, there is no program made using .NET technologies can run. So, any .NET program requires .NET Framewrok to be installed where it will run. But if you have developed a program using .NET Framework 3.5 without using .NET Framework 3.5 features, then you can use that program in .NET Framework 2.0. But while creating the setup package, you need to mention for which .NET Framework, the program will run.

I created a project of type class library (.net C#), then i registered my assembly in Visual Studios Command Prompt using following commands:
regasm /tlb:membershipcards.tlb membershipcards.dll
gacutil /i membershipcards.dll
it is working fine, but what i will do to register my dll on a system where Visual Studios is not installed.
I tried regsvr32 but it is not working , it is asking entry point.

I have a number of VB6 applications running on 600 PC's where the updates are installed from a server. My client is moving to vista in the very near future. Now my programs will not install or update. How can I launch my installation EXE (WISE Installation) with the priviledges requires so it installs and/or updates correctly on a Vista PC without all the prompts or errors.
I have seen this code which looks like it may work but it is in CPP and I am a VB6 and VB.NET programmer.
Launch your application in Vista under the local system account without the UAC popup[^]

Are there any components in .NET that support basic SMTP processing?
Just need something that will enable me to send a notification email from a desktop application (not ASP). Presumably, I could use MAPI, but then I have to mess around with Sessions and Logons, etc.
