Guys,
I ask you to remove article "Pre-compile (pre-JIT) your assembly on the fly, or trigger JIT compilation ahead-of-time" from the "Best C# article of November 2008" competition and remove appropriate item from the survey (or at least do not take it into account).
I'm really tired of accusations regarding my article. I don't want to blame my name. It does not worth this competition.

WOW the Pre-Compile article sure snuck up quickly, thats come from nowhere to almost winning.

I'm really surprised and frustrated of your message... 
Does that mean that only fancy and nice-looking UI articles have a chance to win? And idea means nothing? I'm still getting feedback from readers and I believe this does mean something. Or such "WOW" message is a chance to influence on the survey?
Anyway, all votes will be audited. But thanks for your attitude.

Sorry about that. I am not cussing your article, I like it, its just I was suprised how quickly the votes appeared, as I thought the funky explorer article was way out there. Either way, they are all good.

Hi Sacha,
I don't know what to say, really. This is my first article that participates in monthly competition, I don't know what is usual behavior of voting process. I can't check the votes, let's wait for the audition. My vote is for fair survey. I apologize if my previous reply was a bit tough - it was just driven by emotions.

So the popularity of article is a function from number of words in the article, right?  ). If somebody would post "War and Peace" by Leo Tolstoy, he would definitely win! I've spent about a week trying to figure out how to trigger JITting.

I took it as is, and place it into my 80+ assemblies client, and I must say it looks like it does response better. I did a very non scientific measurements using my logs, and saw about ~20% improvement overall.
