Dear Mud,

Thanks for your suggestion, but my doubt is, if that is the cause means i have to get the issue for every time but i am not getting every time only in particular time that is for only 10-20 mints twice or thrice in a week.

please suggest me.

Hi Menon you are bit of correct, that is only sysadmin only can view the windows path . . . . Except sysadmin right nobody can access the windows path.

Nels i have given Create any database permission after that i have given db_creator permission in server level through GUI then now it's working fine.

Now i have reached my requirement that is now that login can do only Backup and restore operation for perticular database and even he can't see that what ia there in database.

Nels thanks for your suggestion, here one more problem i am facing that is I have given db_owner rights for one database but i am not able to restore it showing the error:

Msg 3110, Level 14, State 1, Line 1
User does not have permission to RESTORE database 'thrilok'.
Msg 3013, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
RESTORE DATABASE is terminating abnormally.

I have seen that link already,

in that link they said serveradmin can alter ANY ENDPOINT, RESOURCES, SERVER STATE, SETTINGS, SHUTDOWN, VIEW SERVER STATE.

That means serveradmin can create all the things which are mentioned above. Correct??????

AS EXTERNAL NAME [encdec].encdec.encrptdecrypt.[Encrypt]

Showing syntax error:::: That is

Msg 102, Level 15, State 1, Procedure usp_encdec, Line 11
Incorrect syntax near '.'.
