Thank you for the information! I will make sure to do that for my next question(s)! Have a good one Sergey!

Thank you Sergey! I learned this stuff off of a tutorial, but I never knew it taught me bad programming! Thank you so much for telling me now! I am a self taught programmer at the moment, so I don't have any teacher to really help out. Thank you again Sergey! Keep coding, and I will most likely go through your articles. Have a good one Sergey.

Well, what I have been doing, was simple rock paper scissors games, I guess i'm one of those people that need to be interested at the start. It's happened to me with books, e.g. the Harry Potter books, I didn't want to read them because I found the intro plain, but when I passed the intro, I got addicted to it, that might be it for my programming.

Probably making something that makes me feel accomplished, proud. Something that I could show to my family and friends and make them "surprised."

What happens if I had a mac? I did some researching, and it seems that c# does not work on a mac.
Could you suggest any other programming languages to learn?

Thanks for the help! I found a course for c# game programming with XNA, I think I'll get interested.

Sorry, i'm not that familiar with how c# works, but from the other answers, they say I need to learn .net too? Is .net another programming language? Do I need windows 8?Also, what can I make with c#? Sorry again for all the questions :/

I was thinking and I thought to myself that most schools( including college), teach Java, so I thought that I wouldn't need to learn Java now, do you agree?

Do you still recommend me using codeacademy?

I am very sorry for not commenting on your last answer, SA. The reason I repeated myself is because of the site I am using to learn code. It made me make this "address book" project, and showed me how to do it, but with only some help. It showed me to make the objects in that way. And the funny thing is, that site told me how to use the function so it can be easier to make other objects. It's just that the site showed me the syntax on how to create people, so I did it that way. Thank you for your help! I will make sure not to use DRY that much!

Thank you SA, I will keep that in mind! But, the thing is, I am quite new to programming and am using a website called codeacademy. This code is a lesson I had to do in codeacademy and it told me to do it this way. Oh, and I thought for a variable, you could not start off with a capital when your naming it, so I thought you could only do "bob," because all the examples on codecademy don't have a capital for "bob" and other variables, so I thought you could not do that! But, thank you very much for the answer and I will try not to "repost" again!

Ooooo, in the "if" statement, did I have to do: if(contacts[i].lastName = lastName) { }??

Ohhh, I've got it, you have to do the "FizzBuzz" statement first! I still don't understand why you have to do it that way.

I just realized that my while loop didn't have an ending "}," thats probably the problem, but if you guys could, check my code over for any other problems! Thanks again

I still have not learned about the "alert" command, but it still works as an answer. I'm trying to understand the sample code you gave me right now :/, because I don't want to just pass that section without understanding what I did. Thank you guys for the answers and I am sorry if my knowledge on javascript is too little. Do you guys recommend me using this site again if I need help debugging my own code? Also, does it matter where I put the { and }?
For example:
if(???) {
//do stuff
}
------------
if(???) // in the previous way, the { was here, but now it's under the if statement.
{
do stuff
}
--------------------
I was wondering if by putting the { and }'s in a specific place, it will change the outcome of the code. Just wondering.

Sorry for not putting down the link, my bad. The instructions on codecademy say that I should do it like this, they show me the format of it and I just have to put it into code. Maybe it was just me, but it seemed to me the instructions on codecademy wanted me to do my code in that format.
